Homemade Granola

Adapted from a recipe found in Oxygen magazine

Ingredients:

  • 3/4 cup sunflower seeds
  • 1 1/2 cups oatmeal
  • 1/4 cup ground flaxseed
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries
  • 1/2 cup slivered almonds
  • 1/2 cup shredded unsweetened coconut
  • 3 tbsp natural peanut butter
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1/3 cup raw honey
  • 1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract
Preheat oven to 300 degrees.  In a large bowl, combine all ingredients and mix until evenly blended.  Press mixture into a baking pan and bake for 40 minutes.  Enjoy 1/2 cup as a superfood snack.

Acai Bowl


This has become one of my new favorite breakfast recipe. The Acai bowl. I found this recipe online and had to give it a try and I fell in love ❤️

3/4 cup Greek yoghurt
2 TBSP coconut milk
1 tsp acai powder
1/2 frozen berries
1/2 cup fresh berries (for topping)
1/8 cup shredded coconut (for topping)
1/2 cup granola (the super healthy organic kind)

Mix the first 4 ingredients in your blender. Add the granola. Top with berries and coconut.
Serve and enjoy!! So yummy!! 🍓
